Quick And Easy Turkey Pie
- 2 Pie Crusts (I use pre-made)
- 2 Cups (Roughly) Shredded, Cooked, Turkey (Both white and dark meat)
- 5 Small Potatoes, raw and cut into bite-sized chunks
- 1 Jar (12 oz) Turkey Gravy
- 1 Egg, Beaten and Used to Brown Crust
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Pepper
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F, and place first crust on bottom of pan, poking holes into it lightly
- Step 2: Chop potatoes and start shredding turkey to make layers
- Step 3: Bake bottom crust for 4-5 minutes, add in potatoes to bottom layer
- Step 4: Add shredded turkey and cover potatoes completely, leaving as little holes as possible
- Step 5: Pour gravy over the turkey and let soak for a minute, then give it a few jiggles and hard taps on the counter to have some settle into the potatoes as well
- Step 6: Pinch closed the top pie crust and poke holes in it with a fork, glaze with beaten egg
- Step 7: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until crust is golden brown
- Step 8: Let cool a few minutes and serve with your favorite vegetable side!
- I made this pie vegi-less because people I know do not like them; but if you add some, just substitute some of the potatoes for the vegi so it does not get overfilled. :)
