Chocolate Macadamia Bars
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1 c. chopped Macadamia nuts
- 2 oz. white chocolate, chopped
- powdered sugar
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Melt chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate and butter together.
- Cool 10 minutes.
- Stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beating by hand until blended.
- Stir in flour, baking powder and salt that has been mixed together.
- Fold in nuts and white baking chocolate.
- Pour into a greased 9-inch square pan.
- Bake 30 to 40 minutes until they test done.
- Cool. Sift powdered sugar over before cutting into 24 bars.
