Hearty Beef And Potato Casserole
- 4 c. frozen hash browns
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
- 1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- Place potatoes on bottom of 9 x 13-inch casserole.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Brown ground beef.
- Drain. Combine soup, milk, half the cheese and seasonings.
- Add the ground beef, broccoli, 1/2 can of Durkee onions and tomato.
- Pour onto potatoes.
- Bake, covered, at 400u0b0 for 20 minutes.
- Top with remaining cheese and onions.
- Bake, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes longer.
- Preparation time: 15 minutes.
- Serves 6.
