Cream Cheese Pumpkin Squares

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Put first five ingredients into mixing bowl and mix until well blended. Pour into a greased 8X13 cake pan.
  3. In a separate bowl,combine cake mix, melted butter, and nuts until you get a crumb like consistancy. Top the cream cheese mixtue with crumb mixture.
  4. Bake in oven for approximately 35-40 minutes or until topping is light brown in color. Remove from oven, and let sit until room temperature.
  5. Beat whipping cream and rum (or extract).
  6. Cut into serving size squares, and top with a dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh grated nutmeg. Enjoy!!
