Wet Ribs
- 6 pounds pork back ribs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 2 cans beer or apple juice
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 onion (medium), finely diced
- 1-1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 cup worchestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Mix fist 6 ingredients together in a stock pot.
- Cook over high heat until mixture comes to a boil and then reduce heat to low.
- Cook for 1 hour.
- Add remaining ingredients in small pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce to simmer and cook for about 30 minutes.
- Put ribs on medium BBQ and slather with rib sauce, turning twice and slathering each time. They are already cooked so your just carmelizing the sauce.
- Serve with remaining sauce.
