Peach Cobbler
- Single 9-inch pie crust
- 1/4 cup corsnatch
- juice of one lemon (a little over 3 TBS)
- 2 1/2 TBS Butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 3/4 brown sugar
- 3 cups sliced granny smith apples peeled and sliced
- 5 cups peeled and sliced peaches
- 1. Slowly stir in the lemon juice into the cornstarch. Set aside.
- 2. Melt the butter in the fry pan. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
- 3. Stir in the sliced apples until coated. Stir in the peaches.
- 4. Stir in the lemon juice/cornstarch mixture.
- 5. Place the pie crust on top of the mixture and place in a 425 degree oven. Bake until the crust is golden brown and mixture is hot and bubbly. About 30 minutes.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
