Chard Tart

  1. Combine dry ingredients. Stir water and oil together, Combine.
  2. Knead the mixture briefly. The dough will be very moist and difficult to roll.
  3. Press dough into 11" tart pan. Refrigerate about 1 hour or more.
  4. In a large skillet, over medium low heat, cook onion in olive oil for about 15 minutes.
  5. Add chard leaves and cook until tender, 8 - 10 minutes.
  6. Season with thyme, salt and pepper.
  7. Position rack in the lower third of the oven. Preheat to 375F.
  8. Combine eggs, heavy cream, parmesan and cottage cheese in a bowl.
  9. Add greens to mixture and turn on to prepared shell. Top with shredded cheese.
  10. Bake 40-45 minutes.
