Margaritas Tomak
- Simple Syrup:
- 2/3 c. sugar (preferrably Turbinado sugar)
- 1/3 c. water
- Sour Mix:
- 1 1/8 c. water
- 3/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 c. sugar
- 1 egg white
- Margarita:
- 2 c. white tequila (100% blue agave)
- 1 c. Cointreau
- 1/2 c. fresh lime juice
- 1 oz. simmple syrup
- 1/2 c. sour mix
- ice
- Simple Syrup:
- Combine sugar and water in small saucepan. Heat until boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool
- Sour Mix:
- Combine all ingredients in a large glass container. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Chill until ready to use.
- Margaritas:
- Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher. Stir to combine well. Pour individual servings into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into chilled martini glasses rimmed with salt or turbinado sugar.
