Peanut Butter And Chocolate Bars
- 1 cup smooth creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups light or dark brown sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups salted peanuts
- 2 cups Nestle semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and brown sugar. After that is light and fluffy-ish, add all the eggs, mixing them into the bowl one at a time. Beat the mixture until it is well blended and mixed, it will not be heavy, just a bit light and fluffy-ish. Then, sift in the flour by folding it into the mixture alternately with the peanuts and chocolate morsels. Spread mixture in a 9x13-inch cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cool on a rack. When they are warm, but not completely cooled, cut into bars remove from the pan. Let cool completely, on a rack if possible, but not necessary. Lay them on a brown paper bag that has been cut into a sheet.
