Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0 (325u0b0 if using glass pie plate).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour, chocolate chips and 1 cup pecans and mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle 2 tablespoons pecans in a circle on top.
  5. Bake one hour or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean, about 50 minutes at lower temperature and check before letting it bake longer.
  6. Makes 8 servings.
