Chicken Cordon Bleu
- As many chicken breasts as people.
- 2 pats of butter per chicken breast
- 1/2 slice of cheese per chicken breast
- 1/4 slice of ham per chicken breast
- Wet Mixture
- Egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dry Mixture
- Flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- Bread crumbs
- (This recipe can be made for any number of people. Just buy as many chicken breasts as people).
- Debone chicken breasts. Place meat between saran wrap and pout with mallet until 1/4 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread 2 small pats of butter and put 1/2 slice swiss cheese and 1/4 slice ham. Roll up and secure with toothpicks; then roll in egg, salt and pepper. Then flour, salt and pepper. Then back in egg mixture and finally bread crumbs.
- Fry in skillet with oil or shortening (Slowly)
- Let cook about 1 hour.
