Microwave Candy Bars

  1. Combine oats and margarine in microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave (High), uncovered, 3 to 4 minutes until heated through.
  3. Stir in sugar and syrup until blended.
  4. Microwave (High), uncovered, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes, until heated and sugar is dissolved, stirring once.
  5. Evenly press into lightly greased 8-inch square microwave-safe bowl; set aside.
  6. Microwave chocolate bits in uncovered glass bowl, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until soft, stirring once.
  7. Stir until smooth.
  8. Blend in peanut butter.
  9. Spoon onto oat mixture.
  10. Spreading evenly.
  11. Refrigerate.
  12. Cut into squares or bars.
