Tomato'S & Basil With Romanello Cheese & Bread
- 8 Fresh vine ripened tomato's
- 1 bunch of fresh basil
- Romanello Cheese
- Baguette
- 1 tablsp of coarse salt
- Dressing
- 1/8 cup red wine vinagar
- 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic,crushed
- 1/2 teasp sugar
- 1/4 teasp oregano
- 1/4 teasp of pepper
- Super easy and absolutly Delish, better than the traditional Tomato's and Bocconcini!
- Wash and slice tomato's to a 1/4 inch. Spread out on a platter, sprinkle with coarse salt. Wash & Dry basil and place a single leaf on each tomato slice. Slice Romanello 1/8 of an inch to fit tomato and place on top of basil leaf. Dressing can be made up ahead of time. Drizzle over top of tomato's. Slice baguette to 1/2 inch slices. Guest may serve their tomato,basil cheese stack onto their bread. They will sop up the dressing with their bread, just wait and see!!!!
