Crunchy Oatmeal Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Grease twelve 2.5" muffin-pan cups.
  3. In medium bowl, combine flour, oats, bran, baking powder, cinnamon salt and nutmeg.
  4. In mixer bowl, beat egg, milk, brown sugar, oil, and vanilla; add to oat mixture and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  5. Stir in almonds.
  6. Spoon batter into prepared cups and bake 20 minutes or until finished.
