Pork In A Bag
- Dry Rub-
- 1 1/2 T. paprika
- 1 1/2 t. course-ground pepper
- 1 1/2 t. kosher salt
- 3/4 t. chili powder
- 1/2 t. packed brown sugar
- 3-4 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- bottled BBQ sauce of your choice
- 3-4 lb. pork, loin or rib.
- Rub with dry rub and let stand at room temp. for 15 min.
- Prepare grill for BBQ setting or medium heat. When hot, turn off one burner or one side of the grill.
- Make slits in the pork and insert pieces of garlic. Place sliced onions on top and put 1-2 T. of BBQ sauce on top also. Place the whole thing in TWO brown paper bags. Close end and place on side of grill that is off. This will cook via indirect heat for about 1hr. 15-20 min. depending on the size of the meat. Add more BBQ sauce as it cooks according to your taste.
