Smokin Summer Jalapenos!
- 12 raw jalapeAos
- 1 Large container of cream cheese
- Package of thick cut bacon
- Fajita seasoning
- Wooded skewers
- Olive oil
- Pre Prep:
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 min prior to cooking
- Rinse and dry all jalapeAos
- Slice bacon strips in half and set aside
- Main Prep:
- Slice all jalapeAos in half (vertically) and place on a large cookie sheet
- Using a carving knife to gently cut out the inside of each half - just remove the seeds
- Using a butter knife spread a generous about of cream cheese inside each half
- Season each half - directly on cream cheese - with fajita seasoning
- Wrap 1 half bacon strip around each half and place on skewer (about 3 per stick)
- Lightly brush grill with olive oil
- Place skewers on grill
- Cook until bacon is nice and crisp and "melts" into the jalapeAo
- SERVE AND ENJOY!!
