Meat Loaf
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 onion
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 lb ground beef (sirlon)
- 1/2 lb ground veal
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 cup of chili sauce
- 3 slices of bacon
- kosher salt and pepper to taste
- Saute onion and celery in butter, let cool. Add meat, parsley, sour cream, bread crumbs, thyme, marjoram.
- Wisk worcestershire,egg, salt and pepper and add to meat mixture.
- grease 8x4 loaf pan, top with chilli sauce and bacon, bake 350 for 1 hour until firm
