Choplet Patties
- 1 can choplets, chopped fine in food processor
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. ground sage
- 1 sq. plain tofu
- 2 Tbsp. bulgur, cooked soft
- 1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. finely diced red sweet pepper
- 1 Tbsp. finely diced celery
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- Prepare tofu as in Tofu Salad Delight, cutting in strips instead of cubes.
- Whole wheat flour, plain white flour (unbleached) or cornmeal can be used to coat the tofu.
