Orange Chili Szechuan Chicken
- 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 3 Pounds Chicken strips (breast and thighs)
- Mix and set aside , let stand 20 mins.
- The Sauce
- 4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Ginger Garlic juice (take 3 parts Ginger 1 part garlic , chop well in food processer . Use cloth to squeeze out the juice)
- Zest and Juice of 2 med. Oranges
- 1 Teaspoon Sesame oil
- 20 or so Chili Japone
- 4 Green onions (sliced in 3 in. stipes)
- peanut oil for stir-fri Wok
- Marinade Chicken in cornstarch ,sugar ,salt ,lemond juice
- Combine ingredients for the sauce, stir and set aside.
- Heat the Wok to high temp. add the chicken one portion at a time stir-fri till about half cooked . Add Sauce for the portion. Cook untill sauce thickens a little.
- Put on top steamed Rice and/or Veggie.
- Garnish with Orange slice and a little extra zest !
