Pecan Caramel Triangles

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut butter in until crumbly.
  3. Press firmly on bottom of a 13 by 9 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
  5. Meanwhile in heavy saucepan, combine sweetened milk, cream, and vanilla.
  6. Over medium-high heat, cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to medium; cook and stir until mixture thickens, 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Stir in pecans.
  9. Spread evenly over prepared crust.
  10. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
  11. Garnish with chocolate drizzle.
  12. Chill.
  13. Cut into triangles. Store covered at room temperature.
