Roll-Out Cookies
- 2 sticks Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter
- 1 1/2 Granulated Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
- 2 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with a mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla and almond extract and mix to combine.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt in another bowl then add it into the creamed mixture 1 cup at a time.
- Section dough into equal parts and roll out to desired shapes and consistency. Place cookies on a lined baking sheet. Bake until firm and light golden brown, 5-6 minutes. Remove from oven and allow them to cool thoroughly before icing.
- Ice with my "Your Royal Highness" Royal Icing.
