Sausage Broccoli Penne
- Colette's Sausage Broccoli Penne
- 1 lb of sweet Italian sausage
- 1 bag of frozen broccoli
- 1 lb of penne pasta
- 1 canister of grated cheese
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 can of chicken broth
- Garlic - either 2 tablespoons of the jarred or a few fresh cut up cloves
- Get a large pot for penne and get water ready for boiling.
- In the meantime, take casing off sausage, crumble & brown sausage in a deep frying pan and add garlic.
- Add chicken broth and broccoli, use as much or as little as u want from the bag.
- Boil down.
- Add butter and 1/2 cup- to 1 cup of grated cheese let simmer and thicken.
- Drain penne, put penne back in large pot , mix sausage/broccoli mixture with pasta.
- Serve and Enjoy!
- Top with more grated cheese if desired.
