Pub Style Vegan Burgers With Caramelized Onions And Horseradish Sauce

  1. CARAMELIZED ONIONS- heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat, then add onions and saute until translucent, about 6 minutes. Lower heat to very low and cook 45 minutes. Add salt and pepper then set aside to cool.
  2. HORSERADISH SAUCE- combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Done!
  3. Prepare the burgers and the bacon according the package directions. Toast the English muffins. Assemble your sandwich: Smear horseradish sauce on English muffins, top with burger, then bacon, caramelized onions next, then lettuce and tomato.
  4. Serve with chips or a hearty soup. Just a suggestion.
