Low Carb Pizza With Ham & Caramelized Onions
- 1 low carb mission tortilla
- 1/2 tea minced garlic
- 1/2 tea EV Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon prepared pizza sauce
- 2 oz off the bone ham
- 2-3 oz fresh Mozzarella cheese
- 2 TBL Caramelized onions (recipe below)
- 1/4 cup arugula
- pre heat oven to 350
- top tortilla with olive oil and garlic
- then top with pizza sauce
- then caramelized onions
- then fresh mozzarella
- top with ham
- cook for about 10-15 minutes until bubbly - top with fresh arugula
- Caramelized onions (makes 1-2 cups)
- 2 onions sliced thin
- 2 tbl EV olive oil
- dash salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- coat large saute pan with olive oil add onions and stir until coated, cook on medium heat for 10 minutes add sugar and salt continue to stir occasionally preventing the onions from sticking for another 20 minutes
