Kale Salad

  1. 1.Rinse kale leaves and use a salad spinner to spin dry or pat dry
  2. 2.Remove stems and veins from each leaf and cut leaves into small strips and place in bowl.
  3. 3.Add lemon juice, salt and olive oil to leaves and massage thoroughly with hands.
  4. 4.Set aside
  5. 5.Place all dressing ingredients in a blender or food processer and mix until well combined.
  6. 6.Toss kale leaves with dressing. Add a little at a time so you don't overdress.
  7. 7.Chop figs into small pieces and add to salad.
  8. 8.If using nuts add to salad.
  9. 9.Sprinkle with hemp seeds
  10. 10.Add a twist of ground black pepper
  11. 11.Give it a light toss and serve
