Beef Stew

  1. Brown meat in small amount of oil in Dutch oven. Add onion, tomatoes, tomato sauce and water.
  2. Simmer until meat is almost done, at least 1 hour.
  3. Add carrots and simmer 30 minutes.
  4. In a cup, mix together ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and a little stew broth and mix well.
  5. Add this to stew; mix well.
  6. Add potatoes.
  7. Simmer until potatoes are done and to desired juiciness.
