Easy Beef Stew With Rice

  1. Heat oil in large skillet.
  2. Add meat and onion; cook and stir until meat is browned.
  3. Sift flour, salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, mushrooms, broth, carrots and garlic powder.
  5. Bring to boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare rice as directed on package.
  7. Serve stew over rice.
  8. Makes 4 servings.
