Papa Burrell'S Shrimp Boil
- 1 lemon
- 1 large onion
- 1 head of garlic
- 9 corn on the cob
- 2 lbs red potatoes
- 2 lbs andouille sausage
- 2 lbs white fish - any kind
- 2 lbs shrimp
- 1 bag or box of shrimp boil seasoning - most markets have it near the fish
- 2-3 loaves of french bread
- mustard or other dipping sauces
- split corn on cob
- cut potatoes in half
- cut sausage and fish into 1 inch cubes
- separate garlic into cloves
- cut lemon in half
- Fill Turkey fryer half with water
- add seasoning, onion, lemon, garlic, and sausage
- after five minutes add potatoes
- after five minutes add fish and corn
- after five minutes turn off burner and add shrimp
- after 2-3 minutes when shrimp turn pink, lift out strainer and dump on table covered with newspaper
- cut up the onion
