Sweat Potatoes

  1. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes until nice and hot with puffed up marshmallows.
  2. In flat skillet on stove, add sliced apples, 1/2 stick butter and 1/2 c sugar. Cook on medium heat until apples are transparent. Feel free to add more butter or sugar if needed.
  3. Meanwhile, precook potatoes for about 5 minutes - salt water (be fairly generous as this is the one chance to season), drain and put on bottom of baking pan.
  4. When apples are ready, add with sugar / butter mixture on top of potatoes
  5. Distribute rest of sugar and butter (small pieces) over the potatoes and apples.
  6. Marshmallows go on top when ready to bake or add after 15 minutes of cooking
