Sour Cream Pound Cake(Awarding Winning Recipe)
- 1/2 lb. sweet whipped butter
- 3 c. sugar, sifted
- 3 c. sifted cake flour
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- Blend
- butter,tugar
- and
- egg
- in
- this order: all of butter, 1/2
- to
- 1tup sugar and one egg.tlend and continue process
- until
- all
- is
- blended,
- beating well.
- Sift flour 3 times; addto egg mixture with sour cream (1 cup flour with a portion
- of
- sour cream);
- repeat, mixing on medium speed with electric
- mixer.
- Add
- soda; blend.
- Add flavoring.
- Pour into well-greased
- pan.tine bottom of pan with greased wax paper. Bake at 325u0b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Baking time may vary. Cake is
- done when a wooden toothpick is inserted and it comes out dry.
