Chicken Casserole
- 1/2 Cup butter or margarine
- 1-2 Cups diced celery
- 1/2 Cup diced onion (1 small)
- 1/4 Cup diced green pepper
- 1 Cup fresh mushrooms
- 1 Cup chopped fresh broccoli
- 1 1/2 lbs. cooked chicken
- 1 tsp Mural Of Flavor or Tuscan Sunset
- 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 8 oz pkg. cream cheese (or Neufchatel cheese)
- Preheat oven to 350*. In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the vegetables and cook stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10 minutes. Add the chicken, Mural Of Flavor, (or Tuscan Sunset), salt, pepper & garlic. Cut the cream cheese into several cubes and add to the pan.
- Reduce the heat to low and cook until the cheese is melted, stirring frequently. Pour the mixture into a buttered 3-quart casserole dish. Baked uncovered at 350* until the top is golden brown, approximately 20-30 minutes
