Autum Chicken With Squash

  1. 1) Preheat oven at 350 F.
  2. 2) Create a bed of chopped carrots and celery in an oven safe deep dish pan.
  3. 3) Wash chicken breasts and put it in the dish pan.
  4. 4) Pour chicken broth on the chicken and the vegetables.
  5. 5) Sprinkle salt, pepper and rosemary.
  6. 6) Put the chicken in the oven and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour (until golden).
  7. 7) As soon as the chicken is in the oven, cut the squash in half.
  8. 8) Arrange the squash halves side by side on a baking sheet, insides facing down. Put it in the oven next to the chicken.
  9. 9) The chicken and squash should be done at the same time. Remove both from the oven when ready. Butter the squash and sprinkle with brown sugar. Mix butter, brown sugar, and squash inside itself using skin as its own bowl. Serve with chicken and vegetables on the side.
