Holiday Spiced Flank Seak

  1. mash garlic and ginger with salt and spices using a morter and pestle (or mix in food processor) add olive oil and honey to make a paste. Pat steak dry and rub with marinade cover and chill at least 1 hour.
  2. Prepare grill for cooking.
  3. Bring steak to room temperature(no longer than 45 min). When grill is hot, grill steak on grill rack 5 to 8 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Transfer to cutting board and let stand for 10 minutes.
  4. Cut on bias (45-degree angle)across the grain into thin slices.
