Apple Pie Meringue Kisses

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
  2. 2. Line 2 baking sheets with wax paper or foil.
  3. 3. Mix Sugar, apple pie spice and cider together and set aside
  4. 4. In a bowl or electric mixer, beat the egg whites until foamy. Add the cream of tartar and salt. Continue to beat, adding 1 tablespoon of sugar mixture at a time and beat well after each addition.
  5. 5. Using A large quart zip lock bag snip a tiny hole in the corner and pipe the meringue in small coils or shapes whatever u like on the wax paper lined pans
  6. 7. Bake about 1 hour, until golden and firm. Leave the meringues in the turned-off oven for several hours or overnight without opening the oven door.
  7. 8. When ready to serve, carefully peel away the paper or foil and enjoy
