Apple Pie Meringue Kisses
- *6 Large egg whites
- *1/4 tsp Cream of tartar
- *1/4 tsp salt
- *11/2 cups of superfine sugar
- *A packet of Spiced apple Cider (.74oz) individual packet sized
- *1-2 tbsp Apple pie spice to your liking
- 1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
- 2. Line 2 baking sheets with wax paper or foil.
- 3. Mix Sugar, apple pie spice and cider together and set aside
- 4. In a bowl or electric mixer, beat the egg whites until foamy. Add the cream of tartar and salt. Continue to beat, adding 1 tablespoon of sugar mixture at a time and beat well after each addition.
- 5. Using A large quart zip lock bag snip a tiny hole in the corner and pipe the meringue in small coils or shapes whatever u like on the wax paper lined pans
- 7. Bake about 1 hour, until golden and firm. Leave the meringues in the turned-off oven for several hours or overnight without opening the oven door.
- 8. When ready to serve, carefully peel away the paper or foil and enjoy
