Coleslaw

  1. Coleslaw:
  2. stir all ingredients together and serve as soon as possible, while the cabbage is still crisp severs 6-8
  3. Homemade texas mayonnaise:
  4. In a blender or food processor, place the egg, mustard, lemon juice, herbs, if desired, salt and pepper. Blend for 1 minute. With blend or processor running, slowly add oils untill mayonnaise is thick. Taste and add a little more salt or pepper, if you wish. You may wish to add more lemon juice, if you prefer a sharper flavor and thinner consistency. Makes approximately 1 1/3 cups.
