Swarma Bees (Stuffed Cabbage)

  1. In large bowl, mix feef and one onion. Add pork. Mince garlic and add into bowl. Add rice, seasonings, eggs, pepper and water. Add 2 tsp salt, to taste. Mix thoroughly, add some water if the meat mixture is too firm.
  2. Take ends off boiled cabbage. Reserve large leaves and shred inner smaller leaves into the bottom of large roasting pan.
  3. Make large balls of meat and wrap with cabbage. Make football shape balls. Stick pcs of smoked sausage in between cabbage rolls. Put more cabbage and kraut on top of rolls. Add a minced medium onion on top of rolls. Put sauerkraut juice and 3 c. water on top. Sprinkle flour evenly across rolls.Stir in evap. milk. Pour into crust. lace 6-8 bay leaves on top. Bake at 350 for about 1 hr.
