Cajun Shrimp Fettucine
- 6 oz. fettucine, uncooked
- 1/2 lb. shrimp (medium)
- 2 slices bacon
- 2 medium garlic cloves, minced (1 medium)
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves, ground
- 14 oz. can stewed tomatoes
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 c. green pepper, sliced
- Shell and devein shrimp. Dice bacon. Cook pasta as package directs. Drain and keep warm.
- Cut shrimp in half lengthwise.
- In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; drain.
- Stir in garlic and spices. Cook 1 minute. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp and green pepper.
- Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until shrimp are cooked.
- Just before serving, spoon sauce over hot fettucine. Makes 4 servings.
