- 1/2 pound butter melted
- 5 egg yolks
- 5 TBS sour cream
- Add dry ingredients on top of liquids
- 5 cups sifted flour
- pinch salt (remember to keep salt away from yeast
- 8 TBS sugar
- 2 small cakes of yeast or dry equivalent
- Add ingredients to breadmaker in order shown.
- . If you are using cake yeast, dissolve yeast in sugar and then put into bread machine. If using dry yeast, then pour all of sugar into well in the flour and add the yeast to that.
- Start breadmaker on dough cycle. When finished, place dough in oiled bowl and punch down. Allow to rise a second time. Then put dough on floured surface and divide in 4 parts. With each part, roll out thinly and spread with additional melted butter, cinnamon and sugar mix, and ground pecans. Then roll up lengthwise. You will cut these into 1" sections. Before you place them in mini-muffin tins, prepare the tins by, spraying with pam, add 1/2 TBS butter, some brown sugar and 1 large pecan. Then place piece of dough on top, cover and allow to rise for 1 hour. I place it in a warm place. Sometimes I turn the oven on to 250 for 5 minutes and then turn off, or I leave the light on in the oven. After it rises, then baste with melted butter and bake 350 approximately 20 minutes. Do not let them get too brown.
