Candy Buckeyes

  1. Combine peanut butter, butter and powdered sugar in large bowl.
  2. Roll into balls the size of buckeyes (about the size of a quarter)Place on un-greased cookie sheet and place in refrigerator for at least one hour - overnight is better.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and praffin in a double boiler. No double broiler? Just bring a pot of water to a boil and place a smaller pot into it with the chocolate chips and paraffin.
  4. Insert a toothpick in the peanut butter balls and dip in the chocolate
  5. mixture leaving a small circle uncovered/
  6. Remove the toothpick and cover up the hole left by the toothpick.
  7. Place buckeyes on wax paper and refrigerate. can last in the freezer for at least a few months.
