Hamburger Summer Sausage

  1. Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
  2. Shape into a roll 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Wrap in foil, shiny side in.
  4. Refrigerate for 24 hours or overnight.
  5. Next day poke holes in the bottom of the foil with a toothpick.
  6. Pour 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of a roaster pan.
  7. Place about 3 lids (jar) in the bottom of this pan. Put the meat on the lids with the side with the holes on the bottom.
  8. Bake for 90 minutes at 325u0b0.
