Life Changing Bread
- 1 C sunflower seeds
- 1/2 C flax seeds
- 1/2 C hazelnuts or almonds
- 1.5 C rolled oats
- 2 T chia seeds
- 4 T psyllium seed husks (3T if using powder)
- 1 t sea salt
- 1 T maple syrup or pinch of stevia
- 3 T melted coconut oil
- 1.5 C water
- 1. In flexible, silicon pan (or loaf pan lined with parchment; mix in separate pan first) combine all dry ingredients, stirring well. Whisk maple syrup, oil and water together. Add to dry ingredients and mix well until completely soaked and dough is thick. Smooth top and sit on counter over night (at least 2 hours). Dough should retain shape in pan.
- 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 3. Place loaf pan on middle oven rack and bake 20 minutes. Remove from pan and place upside down on parchment paper and bake another 30-40 minutes. Bread is done when it sounds hollow. Let cool before slicing.
- 4. Store in sealed container for up to five days or freeze.
