Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 3/4 limb celery, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. parsley
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 garlic clove or 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 12 oz. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. wide noodles, cooked
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- Brown ground beef. Add onions, green pepper, parsley and celery. Cook until tender. Drain. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic and pepper (to taste). Cook slowly 20 to 30 minutes. Add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Lightly grease 9 x 13-inch pan. Layer as follows: meat sauce, noodles, meat sauce and cheeses. Bake for 45 minutes at 350u0b0.
