Fudge Topped Brownies
- 1 c. margarine, melted
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 2/3 c. baking cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 tsp. vanilla, divided
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Combine margarine, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Beat well.
- Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Just before brownies are done, melt chocolate chips (over low heat or in microwave) with sweetened condensed milk and remaining 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
- Remove from heat.
- Immediately spread over hot brownies.
- Cool; chill.
- Cut into bars.
- Store covered at room temperature.
