Baked Potato Soup

  1. Scoop out pulp from potatoes into a large mixing bowl.
  2. (I use cut up skins, if desired).
  3. Add celery seed, cream, milk and one cup of water.
  4. Mix until thick like gravy.
  5. In a large Dutch oven, put butter or margarine.
  6. Saute chopped onion until clear. Add potato
  7. mixture, salt and pepper to onion.
  8. Heat; garnish with shredded cheese, bacon bits and onions.
  9. Soup should be thick.
