Seafood Pasta
- 1 lb. shrimp, 31 and under, peeled
- 2 6.5 cans chopped clams or 2 dozen fresh clams, shucked
- 1 lb. Scallops, sea or bay
- 1 lb, crab meat, fresh lump or immatation
- 2 tbls Olive oil
- 3 tbls butter, unsalted
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tbls minced garlic
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 12 oz can tomato paste,
- 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 3 cups water
- 2 tps basil, dried
- 2 tps oregano, dried
- 1 box string pasta
- In large Saute pan or skillet, Stainless, saute onion, Garlic, and Pepper in olive oil and butter for 4 minutes. Add Tomato Paste, water, Basil and Oregano. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 25 to 30 minutes. Add Shrimp, Scallops and clams if using fresh or uncooked clams. Simmer for 5 to 6 minutes. This is a good place to cook Pasta according to package instructions, drain and return to pot while finishing sauce. To the Sauce add Crab and clams if using canned clams and heat through. Pour sauce over Pasta, toss and serve.
