All Afternoon Baby Back Ribs
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 pounds baby back pork ribs (about 2 slabs)
- Your favorite barbeque sauce
- 1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- 2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 3. Trim the membrane sheath from the back of each rack. Run a small, sharp knife between the membrane and each rib, and snip off the membrane as much as possible.
- 4. Sprinkle as much of the rub as possible onto both sides of the ribs.
- 5. Wrap ribs completely in aluminum foil and bake in oven for at least 3 and up to 4 hours ('all afternoon').
- 6. Preheat grill to high. Place ribs on grill and brush with BBQ sauce while turning frequently. Remove when they are desired brown/charred - about 10 - 15 minutes.
- Enjoy!
