Chocolate Caramel Bars

  1. Layer #1:
  2. Combine 1 C. Milk Choco. chips, 1/4 C. butterscotch chips, 1/4 C. creamy peanut butter and stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Spread onto the bottom of a 13x9 greased pan. Refrigerate until set.
  3. Layer #2:
  4. For filling, melt 1/4 C. marg., add 1 C. sugar, 1/4 C. Evaporated milk. Bring to a boil; boil for 5 min. stirring the entire time. Remove from the heat & stir in 1 1/2 marshmallow creme, 1/4 C. Peanut butter, 1 t. vanilla. Add 1 1/2 C chopped salted peanuts. Spread over the first layer. Refrigerate until set.
  5. Layer #3:
  6. Combine carmels & 1/4 C. whipping cream & stir over low heat until smooth. Spread over the filling & refrigerate until set.
  7. Layer #4
  8. Combine 1 C. milk choco. chips, 1/4 butterscotch chips, 1/4 creamy peanut butter & stir over low heat until melted & smooth. Pour over the the caramel layer. Refrigerate for 1 hour at least. Cut into 1" squares. Can be stored in freezer or refrigerator.
