Fruit Cake Cookies

  1. Cut fruit into medium-sized pieces.
  2. Sprinkle lightly with flour and toss to coat fruit.
  3. Add pecans and mix well.
  4. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Sift flour, measure, sift again with soda and spices.
  7. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and orange juice.
  8. Stir in fruits and pecans, mixing well.
  9. Drop by teaspoons onto greased and floured baking sheet.
  10. For more colorful cookies, you may want to top with half a red or green cherry.
  11. Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 15 minutes.
  12. Makes about 9 dozen cookies.
