Key Lime Pie

  1. Combine 1
  2. 1/2tups sugar,
  3. cornstarch
  4. and salt in a 2 quart saucepan.tdd
  5. lime
  6. juice, water and egg yolks;tlend well. Add
  7. butter
  8. and
  9. gradually
  10. add
  11. boiling
  12. water.
  13. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat and cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  14. Stir in lime peel and green food coloring.
  15. Remove from heat and cool 20 minutes.
  16. Put in shell.
