Chicken Curry

  1. Sprinkle chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in skillet.
  3. Add chicken pieces and cook 5 minutes on one side until golden.
  4. Add onion, celery, garlic and curry powder.
  5. Stir well and cook 5 more minutes.
  6. Add bay leaf, apples and banana and cook 5 more minutes, stirring gently.
  7. Add chicken broth and simmer 15 minutes or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken pieces and stir cream or yogurt into sauce.
  8. Return chicken to sauce.
  9. Serve with rice.
